: : : Any legitimate country doesn't put the interests of small a class of people above the interests of the  majority. The US is fast becoming a corporate oligarchy and soon will no longer be a Constitutional Republic.

: : This nation has fallen a long way after its thirty year party on the Republicans 13 trillion debt and massive added war borrowing against the future. Looking for cheaper labor, they attacked the blue collar middle class in particular, leaving them far worse off. Naturally their allies are Big Business.

: : In this economic peril that Reaganomics brought on, President Obama has been given no more than reluctant Senate support from three Republicans - all from New England states and two of them women. And he has done all this while trying to rise above the Republican smear machine supported by House and Senate members who cheer on ignorance and bigotry as if they were knowledge and love.

: : Meanwhile, state pension funds have been borrowed on recklessly and the Republicans and some Democrats want to break the promises they made to their employees by cutting the benefits. What choice do ordinary folks have but to cash in retirement accounts  en masse to pay off the mortgage or medical bills or college for the kids.

: : All the while some Democrats are disappointed, angry with this president and don't stand up to the lies and hate being heaped upon him. Look at the record:

: : He has brought in healthcare reform, financial reform, fought an historic recession perhaps to a standstill, agreed to an arms reduction treaty with Russian leaders, put more pressure on al Qaeda while drawing down in Iraq - and done all of it while inheriting an annual budget left structurally more than a trillion dollars out of balance yearly for the next two decades and beyond.

: : Perhaps these Democrats are mad at Barack Obama because he didn't also walk on water. Maybe they think Sarah Palin can.

: Haven't you learned how well trickle trickle down works over the past 30 years?  My local drug dealer benevolently shares all his extra profits with our entire community.  I only wish the legalized CEOs, who proved Reagonomics does work for them, lived in my community so I could get a little of their cup's overflow.  I then might still have had my house that I had invested $50k of my own money five years ago.  I am so sorry they won't have me to fix their property and things.  Wow, this is really working great.  I just can't wait until those loving and caring Republicans get back in power so we don't have to put up with those unpatriotic regulations.  Profits are the only patriotic motive for the USA as I have been taught by Glenn and Rush.  Remember, love your neighbor as yourself as long as he is wealthy enough, in the top two percent, to allow you the privelege to be beholdin' to his superiority.
